Rocky Mountain Holiday Party
The Rocky Mountain Holiday Party was held on Friday, Dec 6, and it was a huge success! Over 300 people attended. The gym was transformed into a winter wonderland, and attendees enjoyed performances by the kindergartners, the Wildcat Chorale and the Middle School Treble Makers. The dinner was catered by Rosati's, we had a photography area, numerous craft projects, and then everyone rocked out to music and dancing at the end. A ton of parent and middle school volunteers helped out to make this event a real success.
A survey will be going out soon to ask for feedback, so we can tweak things and make it better next year.
We had a few technical difficulties to start off with involving the brand new sound system and chairs. The new sound system's wiring was all tangled up with the chairs, so we were only able to get one set of our folding chairs out. This created seating issues that we didn't forsee. Next year's party should not have those issues, and we will be able to seat everyone that comes more comfortably for dinner.
I, personally, want to thank Keri Olson and Maryann Watkins for organizing and putting on this event. They did an awesome job pulling everything together, creating the atmosphere, finding and organzing all the volunteers and making sure that everything got done. We had some excellent volunteers that helped set everything up, tear it down and keep everything rolling smoothly. Thank you all for all the work and effort that you put in making this party such a successful and well attended event.
The Kindergarten Teachers also did a wonderful job fitting in all the time needed during the day for Mr. Loper to teach them the songs they sang. Mr. Loper, of course, did a FANTASTIC job with all our kiddos and made the program beautiful to listen to. I can honestly say that it was the best program I have had the pleasure to watch of the children singing. Thank you!
If anyone that attended has feedback that they would like to share before I can get the survey out, please feel free to email me at email@example.com. We want to make next year's event even better than this one's, and we need your input to do that.

Community Nights are a huge success
Our community nights continue to be a HUGE success thanks to all the wonderful families at our school. We are working hard to schedule the rest of them for the year, so keep watching for updates.
You asked and we have responded. We have booked Sweet Tomatoes for January 22nd. Support your New Year's resolutions to eat healthier while supporting the school. It's a win/win situation.
We are also working to schedule the rest of the months at places like Gunther Toody's, Great Harvest Bread, Chipotle and Skate City. If you have a place that you would like to go, send us their information and we will find out if they do community night events. Once they are all scheduled, I will post the list here, on our fusion page, so that you can plan ahead.
Thank you to all our families that help us make these events successful! That is one of the great things about our school that makes me glad to be a part of it.

We had a wonderful turn out of submissions from our talented students. Over 120 were drawn and submitted. They were all excellent and wonderful pictures. Our winner is:
